There are always special events and great activities taking place at Barkley’s Gourmet Marketplace!

2012 Turkey Trot is returning to Main Street in Flemington

Thanksgiving Day – 9:00 am

Come and join the several thousand walkers, runners, and revelers (many in costume) who come out in support of a great local non-profit and for a great time.

Please come down to cheer the runners and walkers on as they celebrate the early part of Thanksgiving morning in support of our neighbors and friends at the Center for Educational Advancement and Spring Run School. Barkley’s Gourmet Marketplace will be on the course, providing treats for our four legged runners and spectators.

Here are a few tactical items you should know…

Much of Main Street will be closed to traffic in early/mid morning, as will Court Street between Park Ave and Main Street.

A no-parking area of Main Street will exist from Fulper to the War Memorial on Thanksgiving morning until 10:30 am.

In order to address safety concerns for our visitors the North side of Bonnell Street will also be a no parking area from 8:00-10:30 am on Thanksgiving Day. (DPW signs will be posted on November 21, 2012.)

If you would like to register to work up an appetite at the Turkey Trot while supporting a great cause, you can do so by clicking here  You can also pick up a paper application at CEA, 11 Minneakoning Road, Flemington, NJ 08822 or you may receive information about the event, CEA or Spring Run School by calling 782-1480.
